These photographs were taken at the Stadsblokken & Meinerswijk. This area is situated in Arnhem, between the Rhine and the dikes.
There used to be a brick factory and a ship building company, nowadays there is still a little township (de Praets), some houseboats and a lot of nature. You can also find the remains of the IJssellinie, which was built in the early 1950's during the Cold War.
